Edith Saraí Muñoz, an associate attorney, counsels clients on estate planning, guardianship, and trust and probate administration matters. Edith earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, Edith served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Daniel B. Malone in the Probate Division, gaining hands-on experience in guardianship proceedings, probate administration, and contested estate matters. Her externship strengthened her commitment to helping families navigate difficult legal issues with empathy, clarity, and practical guidance.
Edith is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about serving first-generation and Spanish-speaking families in estate planning and guardianship matters. As a first-generation attorney, she understands the importance of accessible legal guidance and strives to make the legal process approachable and understandable for every client.
Edith is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and DuPage County Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois and the Chicago Estate Planning Council, where she was recognized as an Emerging Leader through the organization’s leadership and professional development initiatives.
