In 2012 Rick Boonstra was the lead litigation counsel and David Strom was the tax and estate planning guide as they advanced through the court system in a complex trust construction case involving one of Illinois’ wealthiest families and several major Chicago charities. Many of the larger Chicago firms were involved. The case was litigated across the country and ultimately successfully settled on favorable terms for our clients.
